OUR STORIES

In 2015 more than 90% of our first-ever graduating class, the class of 2019 (named for the year they will graduate from college), was accepted to college. This includes schools like Howard, Morehouse, Rutgers, Seton Hall, St. Michael's, Temple, The College of St. Elizabeth, and UMass Boston. While there is much to be proud of, there is still much more to be done.

ACHIEVEMENT

After my dad died, my mentors were key to my academic success - are growing up.

Kashawn Griffin, recent People's Prep graduate and currently a sophomore at Fairleigh Dickinson University, shares his personal story about growing up in Newark, NJ and the impact of mentors.
