OUR STORIES

In 2015 more than 90% of our first-ever graduating class, the class of 2019 (named for the year they will graduate from college), was accepted to college. This includes schools like Howard, Morehouse, Rutgers, Seton Hall, St. Michael's, Temple, The College of St. Elizabeth, and UMass Boston. While there is much to be proud of, there is still much more to be done.

EVENT

Career Day: April 27, 2016

At this event, we have professionals from different partner companies form a panel for a group of 20-30 students from People's Prep to discuss future career opportunities. After the panel discussions, students have the opportunity to ask questions from panel members in one-on-one discussions. This is an amazing way to help influence the career pathway of a high school student from Newark!
